Description:

Reporting to the Director Telemetry & Cardiovascular Services, Nursing Service Admin, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of the multi-disciplinary program. The incumbent will take a lead role in the overall function of the Protected Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Team, understanding and articulating the mission, vision, goals and strategies for the program and patients served. The primary role will be centered on appropriate patient identification and selection using heart team approach and algorithm to provide consistent care and improve outcomes. Additional duties outside of coordination of patient
identification and selection include outreach to internal and external referral sources and community education.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. Equivalent education/experience may substitute in lieu of degree with proof of
enrollment in a BSN program within one (1) year of hire, and completion of degree within three (3) years post enrollment.
2. Three (3) years of sound cardiac experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated expertise in patient care management is required.
3. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California is required.
4. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
5. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and health care personnel is required.
7. Experience in outreach/marketing is preferred.

Pay Range

$51.12 - $74.12
