What does your day look like as Implementation and Turnaround Manager (systems support)
Support on Implementations: Assist local teams during implementations or business turnarounds by serving as the primary IT counterpart. Lead the IT workstream, ensuring effective integration and alignment with operational objectives. Implementations & Projects Reviews: Critically assess and challenge WMS design & implementation plans. Identify weaknesses through gap analysis and contribute to corrective actions, ensuring robust and effective deployment. Project & Change Management: Oversee and coordinate WMS project execution and change initiatives. Manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth adoption of changes. For some projects you will be an external stakeholder but are required to influence the local team to drive successful outcomes as one team Process Design for WMS: Collaborate with operations, IT, and customers to develop functional designs and blueprints for WMS. Assist in rolling out these designs on the shop floor, ensuring practical application, use of best practice and operational efficiency. WMS Training and Support: Lead training programs for warehouse staff and management teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of WMS functionalities. Provide ongoing support to system users by troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Continuous Improvement on WMS: Gather, define, and implement WMS best practices to optimize processes and achieve operational excellence. Continuously assess and challenge implementation plans to identify and address weaknesses, leveraging experience to drive improvements. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize WMS data and analytics to monitor and report on key metrics such as order accuracy, inventory turnover, and warehouse labour productivity. Provide insights to drive performance improvements and decision-making at both tactical and strategic levels.

What do you need to be successful?
Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, IT Systems, or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations with a focus on WMS implementation and optimization. Strong proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Reflex (Web), JDA, Manhattan or other leading WMS platforms) Deep understanding of operational processes Knowledge about reporting tools (Power Bi, Qlik, Tableau, …) Excellent problem-solving skills and change management Extensive travel within Europe is required for this role. Flexibility to travel at short notice and to be away from home base for extended periods Experience of new logistics 3rd party business start ups Strong communication skills in English and at least one other European language. Additional languages are a plus with a preference for Spanish and Italian
