About the team

The Developer Integrations (DI) team is part of Global Customer Launch in Operations for Merchant Solutions.  We specialize in supporting our Integrated Payments’ APIs for Partners and Merchants in North America, with a focus on high quality customer engagement. We are a small but mighty group of technology evangelists and API professionals who work cross-functionally to meet and exceed the needs of our partners, their merchants, and our peers within the payment space. We are effective problem solvers with a keen eye for detail, process improvement, and processing logic.  

What you’ll own:

You will make an impact on the business by working to resolve complex and escalated technical issues in production for some of our top revenue producing partners in the Integrated Payments space.  Equipped with an in-depth knowledge of our systems and products, you will provide technical expertise to Sales and relationship managers, and key clients. You will partner closely cross-functionally with Technology teams to help guide the voice of the customer for product development and improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining an active pipeline of integration projects to integrate and certify our partners to Integrated Payments technology (both transactional and non-transactional). It is essential that you have a focus on quality over quantity, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills appropriate for conversations with partners at a C-Level or lower position.  

Intake, assess, diagnose, document, and resolve complex technical issues 

Utilize analytical skills and experience to escalate, prioritize and address root cause and corrective action for recurring issues 

Identify trends and patterns in troubleshooting and escalate to management, product, engineering, or sales as needed 

Understands technical and functional concepts of FIS products including the interrelationships between products and technologies that support products 

Mentor new members of the team on process, procedure, card brand mandates, and industry best practice 

Engage in side-project work relevant to the DI team or needs of our partners (such as developing Postman libraries, generating test cases for internal use, or working with technology teams to adopt new products) 

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems or computer science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. 

Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer support or technical implementation roles, or combination of previous roles 

Understands technical and functional concepts of FIS products including the interrelationships between products and technologies that support products. 

Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally  

Ability to understand complex business requirements and resolve complex technical issues  

Provides technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions for both pre-production and production environments  

Self-starter, possessing the enthusiasm and ability to function in a team environment  

Outstanding communication, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills  

Exceptional ability to engage with customers in a consultative manner

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $80,960.00 - $131,960.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
