Implementation Project Manager

Senior Project Manager will manage new client implementations and key initiatives for Omnicell Specialty Pharmacy Services (OSPS) with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget, and within scope.  Collaborates with customer and internal stakeholders to determine and articulate business initiative definition and requirements. Responsible for the development, implementation, and adoption of project management tools and practices within our division. Collect and analyze various data sets, identify opportunities for improvement, and measure success initiatives.

Ability to project manage customer engagements that are typically reserved for large, complex, and/or strategic customers. Manage project timeline, scope, resources, and revenue forecasting according to the workplan and contractual commitments. Proactively manage project risks/issues and facilitate challenging conversations with customer/leadership. Gather information needed for business initiative definition and requirements. Serve as operational point of contact for various projects to drive project execution.  Document and communicate project status and changes in the project scope, record contingency plans for risk/issues, ensure accurate and secure management of project artifacts.   Delivery of customer risk reviews to internal leadership. Advanced knowledge in project management methodology, tools, and practices. Mentor other Project Managers through onboarding, customer relationship management, and project management best practices. Up to 25% travel Work across multiple time zones Extended hours in front of a computer and using video technology Must be willing and able to support work during non-business hours, including weekends and holidays as customer needs dictate

 

Education and Experience

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience including a minimum of five years’ project management. Experience in managing multi-solution, multi-year projects. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experienced managing large or complex projects in healthcare related organization. Master’s degree in Business, Science, or Healthcare Administration. Competencies Strong analytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Ability to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to direct multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders. Ability to assess processes efficiency and implement process improvement.  Ability to work collaboratively and align team to achieve corporate initiatives.  Able to adapt to change and support and promote others to adapt and embrace new ways of doing things. Able to challenge the status quo and contribute to implementation of best practices.    Comprehends federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to the practice of pharmacy. Proficiency with workflow concepts relating to the practice and operation of a retail pharmacy.
