Job Description
Palms is seeking a skilled and experienced Contractor Project Manager to lead the implementation of the Origami Claims System solution. The PM will be accountable for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes initiating, business requirement gathering, coordinating, leading team activities, as well as overseeing the vendor relationship.
ResponsibilitiesLead the planning and implementation of the Origami Claims System.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders.Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing resources, timelines, work breakdown structures, risk mitigation, and contingency plans.Coordinate communication/meetings with stakeholders, team members, and vendors to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.Utilize project management software to schedule tasks, track progress, and allocate resources efficiently.Work with subject matter experts and claims team members to gather business requirements and ensure vendor and claims team have a mutual understanding.Lead project team members and establish an execution strategy to ensure successful delivery of project outcomes.Report regularly to key executive stakeholders on project status, risks, issues, and performance metrics.Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and updated regularly.Manage relationship with vendors and contractors, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of the Origami Claims System.Conduct and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Resolve escalated issues promptly and effectively to minimize project risks and ensure goals are achieved.Create and provide project reports including weekly status report and Steering Committee decks.Manage the migration from legacy system to the new system.Essential SkillsProven track record of successful business analysis and project management, specifically within software implementation projects.Experience with project management, software implementation, and UAT.Project Management Experience (PMP certification preferable).Ability to manage multiple priorities and resources in a dynamic environment across various locations.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex project issues.Experience working with vendors and third-party contractors.Work Environment
The work environment is onsite from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This is a 6-9 month contract role.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
