Job Title

Purpose of the role

Support the implementation project team through the definition and planning phases, monitoring and controlling the strategic project to completion using Project Management methodology. Will oversee problem resolution and contribute to the success of the project.

Common Accountabilities

Has relevant technical and functional experience as well as knowledge in Amadeus business and how it relates to its own area.

Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides input to support decision-making.

Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by evaluating different sources of information.

Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from the manager.

Specific Accountabilities

Build and guide the implementation core team.

Facilitate coordinated action between Amadeus, external parties, and customer implementation groups.

Coordinate and follow up on technical issues.

Refine and finalize the implementation project scope with the program manager.

Identify all activities necessary to produce all project deliverables.

Size the implementation project (implementation and gap activity).

Build and validate detailed implementation project planning.

Consolidate and follow up on implementation project planning resources and issues.

Define and follow up on implementation reporting (reporting structure and content, etc.).

Assess internal and external project risks and propose mitigation actions.

Communicate and report on project resources, progress, risks, and costs to the Program Manager.

Support the Program Manager to implement CR structure for financial purposes.

Attend customer project status meetings and project steering committee.
