Working with a team of professionals, this position completes plans to implement new products, features, and enhancements in Guardian’s illustration system on time and in scope to further grow our digital transformation and consumer-centric strategies. You willCollaborate with teammates and with business partners in Product Development, Compliance, Actuarial, IT, and Policy Administration/Operations, as well as with developers from our illustration software vendor
Partner with project managers, business partners, and software developers in both the planning and implementation phases of projects
Translate high-level end-user enhancement requirements into detailed illustration system specifications, UI mockups, and output samples
Develop, review, & contribute to the documentation and execution of detailed test plans to ensure that the illustration system’s UI, calculated values, and client-facing outputs align with product requirements, operational procedures, and NAIC illustration regulations
Develop or employ Excel based tools to verify illustration calculations and/or data passed to/from application interfaces (APIs)
Identify, report, and reconcile system defects on a timely basis
You havePrevious experience in the financial services industry as a business analyst and/or quality assurance tester.
Previous experience in life and/or annuity product illustrations or policy administration is preferred.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, & organizational skills
Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience writing business systems requirements and performing detailed quality assurance testing
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
High mathematical proficiency or actuarial background, a plus
Salary Range:
$57,810.00 - $86,715.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
