About the role: " Import& Export  Coordinator"
In this role, you'll Oversee the day to day functions of Logistics & Warehousing in compliance with the procedures and guidelines set by the company and Ensure that all tasks are executed within the given deadlines and maintain delivery schedules as per service levels committed.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and share shipping documents with customers and the Business team.

Coordinate daily with forwarders and customers for timely shipment collections.

Provide weekly pending shipment reports to the Finance and Business Unit (BU) teams.

Nominate freight forwarders (FF) for overseas Ex Works, CIP, and CIF shipments.

Obtain at least three freight quotations, prepare a comparison analysis, and manage all shipment movements efficiently.

Coordinate with freight forwarders for invoices, ensuring they align with agreed rates and service levels, and regularly update and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Identify and nominate local truck service providers for shipment collections.

Maintain freight costs within budget constraints.

Update the Import and Export tracker daily, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Coordinate direct overseas shipments from vendors to regions including GCC, Pakistan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.

Provide regular reports and updates to all Business Units (BUs) regarding shipment status and key metrics.

Collaborate closely with the Purchase team to expedite purchase orders (PO) updates, clearance documents, and other related tasks.

Prepare and update Excel reports with shipment analysis, ensuring data-driven insights are shared with relevant teams.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree  

• Experience: 3 to 4 yrs. in supply chain/logistics

• Having excellent knowledge in GCC export and gulf region customs.

• Dubai Trade and Jazfa customs regulations.

• International air freight & GCC road freight management, Import/export processes in Dubai Customs, JAFZA, and GCC countries.

• Excellent negotiation, administrative, and time management,  especially MS Office and SAP, Analytical with good communication skills
