Key Activities, Responsibilities, Accountabilities:
Coordinate all load and shipment processes with local plant / warehouse / terminal personnel, carriers and freight forwarders to ensure on time delivery to internal or external customerProactively monitor open orders and deliveries to avoid and resolve issues at the earliest possibility and mitigate negative impact of unavoidable disturbancesKey transactional contact for customers, 3rd party logistics service providers and freight forwardersEnsure adherence to defined operational escalation process to leads, regional experts and plant personnel when encountering unforeseen delays in shipping from plant and ultimate delivery to customer.Manage exceptions and emergency situationsAssist with resolution of freight invoice discrepanciesDocument, investigate and follow up of internal and external complaintsRecommend process improvement including investigation of quality failures and the development of preventive and corrective actions for quality failuresMaintain key internal relationships including business, sales, supply chain planning, logistics procurement, product management and further functions.Key deliverables / Expectations:
Run regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly) operational and KPI reports, share findings and trend with leadership, suggest potential improvement ideas where necessaryMeet/exceed monthly KPI metrics and objectives Qualifications:Requirements / Experiences:
2-3 years (3-5 y for specialist) Logistic Operations, Export / Import experience Fluent English, Spanish, Portuguese is an advantageSAP knowledgeTransportation systems knowledge (e.g. TMS)Competences / Behaviors:
