The Saputo Dairy USA Imports Specialist is responsible for working with our Suppliers, freight forwarders, license partners, US Customs and US Customers brokers and others to maximize the beneficial use of our license portfolio.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter
Maximize container usage of foreign cheese imports from country of origin to warehouse delivery.
Maintain and continuously improve the tracking of documentation throughout the entire imports process.
Analyze license portfolio and import volumes to ensuring Saputo’s ability to maintain our import licenses and those of our managed partner companies.
Monitor shipped and invoice quantities, resolve any discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
Determine, maintain and continually update multiple license processes and relationships between Saputo and our foreign cheese suppliers.
Communicate regularly and maintain strong relationship with customs broker and other relevant parties to ensure compliance with US FDA and Customs laws.
Communicate regularly with foreign suppliers to ensure timely shipment of purchase orders.
Actively develop relationships with Sales, Supply Chain and other internal teams; support internal teams with regulatory compliance, product arrival timing and over/short investigations.
Enter and maintain complete and accurate data in the Saputo ERP system, updating system as changes occur.
Who Is Right for The Role?
1-3 years of experience in imports field.
High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
Meticulous attention to detail, prioritization and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $51,945 to $68,175
Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills and training.
