Overview\n\nThis position will be responsible for the processing of import declarations for the entry of imported goods into U.S. commerce. This position will be entrusted a book of business for that accurate and timely processing of entry documentation. Typical responsibilities of this position are as follows:\n\nEntry Processing\n\nClassification of goods according to USCBP ROIs and HTSUS\nPost Summary Corrections and Protests\nPreliminary Entry Summary Auditing\nPartnering with importers to assist with CBP communications in various situations\nCBP 28’s & 29’s, ADD/CVD cases, GSP/FTA verification requests, etc.\nStaying up to date on industry trends and new compliance regulations\nKeying of entry header and line level data\nTransaction value calculation including determination of Dutiable and non-dutiable charges from commercial documents\nDirect coordination with Client’s on entry requirements\nProcessing of Partner Government Agency claims and other statistical reporting requirements\nWriting Marine Insurance\nPartnering with Client’s as a consult for entry processing\nOther duties as may be directed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
