What You Will Do:

As Process Improvement Team Lead you will lead the prioritization and implementation of plant technology improvement opportunities, which includes both capital and expense projects. Additionally, partner with the Plant and Operations leaders to identify technology related opportunities and implement projects. Meet global business goals through optimization of the process technology, implementation of improvement projects and implementation of Most Effective Technology (MET).

What We’re Looking For:

Lead the development and completion of site technology plans, supporting global business and functional strategy through the Improve Process work stream. Develop and implement Plant Specific Technology Plans by conducting data collection, gap analysis, idea generation, prioritization, and improvement project implementation, in alignment with the Global Technology Plan. Coordinate and leverage global resources for effective implementation of Technology Plans. Monitor and measure the implementation progress of the technology plans at the site. Provide input for improving work practices and setting priorities using plant data and improvement project insights. Interface with the business to contribute to the development of business plan technology. Collaborate with the center of excellence to set priorities for Manufacturing Execution Technology (MET) definition needs. Coach and direct Improvement Engineers on goals and plans, ensuring validation of project performance objectives post-implementation and acting as a change agent to drive technology advancements.

Skills That Make a Difference: 

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in engineering; mechanical or chemical engineering preferred. 5+ years experience as an engineer within a chemical plant. 3+ years demonstrated leadership experience through leading/managing cross-functional teams Proven record of leveraging technology and process optimization. Vision for establishing and maximizing value from process optimization.  Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and goals.  Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact effectively will all levels and departments at the site. Strong planning, organization, and presentation skills. Strong influencing ability. Self-Driven and goal oriented.

 

Considered a Plus:

Lean Six Sigma certification Familiarity with PIP (Process Industry Practices) Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Familiarity with Kaizen principles

Working Conditions:                                    

Schedule is M-F Onsite Must be willing to occasionally wear required PPE
