In-Clinic Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities 

The In-Clinic Pharmacy Technician is responsible for inventory and warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product. Monitor prescription drug inventory within pharmacy computer system. Order and receive inventory and ensure accurate product receipt and assist with discrepancy resolution. Maintain proper storage of prescription drug inventory. Perform cycle counting activities and complete order processing. Properly packs product as required by Standard Operating Procedure. Other duties include: daily box preparation work, pack and ship product with Courier, and create or fix any shipping labels, as needed.

Salary Range: $38,418.64 - $47, 458.32 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.) 

 

Qualifications 

 
Education 

 
Required: High School diploma or GED from an accredited program 

 
Preferred: Associates degree 

 
Experience 

 
Required: Minimum 2-4 years pharmacy tech, 6 months pharmacy inventory/supply chain experience 

 
Preferred:  Warehouse management software experience 

Inventory management software/hardware experience 

 
License(s) 

 
Required: TSBP Registration, Valid Driver’s License 

 
Preferred: PTCB Certification 

 
Special Skills 

 
Required:Able to communicate with medical personnel and problem solve in a collaborative compliant manner 

Appropriately uses information systems, and technology to complete assigned tasks. 

Must be a self-started with good organizational skills 

Excellent customer service and the ability to troubleshoot prescription insurance benefits during processing. 

Stress tolerance in a fast-paced environment. 

 
Preferred: Understanding scope of position and when to seek guidance from a pharmacist

Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word
