We are seeking a passionate and skilled healthcare professional to take on the role of an Acute Peritoneal Dialysis Specialist. This part-time position offers the opportunity to provide specialized dialysis care both in-home and in-clinic, ensuring the highest quality of patient treatment and support.
Key Responsibilities Conduct acute peritoneal dialysis procedures aligned with standard protocols and guidelines. Adjust treatment plans based on patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized care plans. Educate patients and their families about the dialysis process, including potential risks and benefits. Monitor patient progress, maintaining detailed records and reporting any significant changes. Adhere to infection control policies, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse license in the state. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required, with a preference for candidates with experience in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. At least six months of general dialysis experience is essential.This role is based in Nokomis and offers a dynamic work environment where you can make a significant impact on patient care.
