Salesforce CPQ Lead: -

Job Description & Summary:-

As a Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead, you will be part of our Performance Services practice on Salesforce.com/Salesforce CPQ development, support, and enhancement. This person will need to demonstrate an understanding of Salesforce CRM concepts and be responsible for designing and developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform and Revenue cloud. Candidate should have extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms, application development skills, Salesforce CPQ, and the ability to work on full lifecycle engineering efforts using Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted design patterns and practices. This includes configuring and customizing Salesforce CPQ, coding, unit testing, and creating, modifying, and troubleshooting existing applications. Candidates will be working collaboratively with client and project teams. As a member of the Salesforce Solutions team, you will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other teams to deliver robust solutions and a stunning customer experience

Key Duties and Responsibilities include

· Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform.

· Design and implement Quote to Cash solutions using Salesforce CPQ.

· Thorough understanding of Salesforce CPQ and its core principles.

· Meet with clients to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment

· Participate in the development of best practices, strategies, and policies around data governance, including master data management, metadata management, data quality and data profiling.

· Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of a broad range of emerging technology trends and identifies opportunities where technology might be deployed to deliver business improvements and competitive advantage.

· Participate in the sales cycle as needed (solution definition, pre-sales, estimating and project planning)

· Work closely with key stakeholders/project team to recommend and agree technical solutions to meet business requirements, solution design, effort estimation and work breakdown for assigned tasks to support Agile practices.

Skills and Experience Required

· 5+ years of implementation experience on Salesforce and Force.com platform with at least 2 complete lifecycle implementations.

· At least 2 years of experience of solutioning and designing applications on Salesforce and Force.com platform.

· Excellent Salesforce programming skills (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and JavaScript frameworks.).

· Advanced knowledge of the Salesforce CRM platform and suite of Salesforce products.

· Ability to design and provide solutions using Salesforce.com out of box features and custom development tools.

· Extensive knowledge of product configuration, complex pricing rules & sequence, quote configurator plugins & Salesforce CPQ APIs.

· Good understanding of Salesforce CPQ Price Waterfall methodology.

· Proficiency in various CPQ functionalities like amendments, renewals, and order management.

· Excellent project management skills.

· Extensive experience in all phases of SFDC process which involves requirement gathering, requirement analysis, design, development, implementation Integration & enhancement in Salesforce projects.

· Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning, best practices, and deployment methodologies.

· Familiarity with DevOps tools like Gearset, Copado, or Jenkins for CI/CD.

· Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, including platform security, performance optimization, and governance.

· Proven experience in solution design, effort estimation and work breakdown for assigned tasks to support Agile practices.

· Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

· A good work ethic, passion for product quality and attention to detail.
