**Job Posting End Date** 10-07-2024 Please note the job posting will close on the day before the posting end date **Job Summary** Responsible for implementing and maintaining the In-Processing Program and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and associated plant procedures. Identify and recommend Inprocessing Program improvements and enhancements to the Security Programs Manager. **Job Description** + Establish and maintain relationships with Business Agents, and Contract Agencies to ensure compliance with and acceptance of Cook in-processing requirements. + Develop and maintain an In-Processing program, establishing standard responsibilities for individuals seeking access to Cook Nuclear Plant, and establishing responsibilities of AEP employees sponsoring candidates for access to Cook Nuclear Plant. + Coordinate and facilitate the Site Outage Hight Impact Team (HIT) meetings and develop/complete applicable outage milestones. + Coordinate In-Processing responsibilities for various departments across the organization, including Access Authorization, Fitness for Duty, Security, and Training. + Responsible for oversight and evaluation of the in-processing program through self-assessments, benchmarking, trending, and use of the corrective action program. + Responsible for determining the readiness of an individual for in-processing and making determinations as to whether to continue to in-process individuals based on workload of Access/FFD, site need, and priority or to remove the individual from the in-processing schedule. + During peak in-processing times, direct the day-to-day activities of loaned or shared employees. + Provide administrative support to the Access Authorization, Fitness for Duty, and Fatigue Management groups as assigned. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:** Education: + Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Human Resources, or Business Science. + 10 years’ experience in business administration or nuclear security acceptable in lieu of education. Work Experience requirement listed below: + At least 7 years combined experience in Nuclear or Security related fields. Required License/Certification: + Must be able to subsequently achieve FFD Collector (FF-JFG-COLL & FF-JFG-BAT1) and Reviewing Official (SE-JFG-REVO) qualifications. **OTHER** **REQUIREMENTS:** + Physical demand level is Sedentary. + Ability to understand regulatory guidance and commitments with regard to Site In-processing, Access Authorization, Fitness for Duty, and Fatigue Management. + Possess mature judgement in all areas of the work assignment. + Possess good interpersonal skills, effective writing and verbal communications skills, and basic mathematical skills. + Demonstrate effective working knowledge of Security Screening Information System (SSIS), Ready to Work, Personnel Access Data System (PADS), and Work Force systems. + Able to demonstrate instructions for all aspects of the Site In-processing Program. + May require working flexible hours/shifts. **Must establish & maintain a permanent residence within a 45-minute safe drive time to the D.C.
