Plant Logistics Lead
The purpose of this position is to design strategy, plan and transform end to end supply chain, orchestration of
customer, suppliers, internal manufacturing and logistics service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods at
optimized costs, creating customer delight.
Primary Responsibility
1.Logistics Management
Formulate and implement logistics specific standards, strategies, processes, and systems within the plant to fulfil
customer delivery demands in a timely manner
2.Logistics Transformation
Promote and implement end-to-end digital and connected value chain to optimize material and information flow, end to end supply chain capabilities from supplier till customer
3.Logistics Planning - PPC and COP
Oversee fulfillment of target business plan for the plant by evaluating and effectively managing inventories
4.Physical Logistics
Monitor implementation of processes and methods for inbound and outbound logistics, safe and secure storage of raw materials and finished goods
5.Relationship Management
Act as final escalation point within the plant for internal and external delivery of materials
6.Compliance Management
Manage commercial processes to be legally compliant with internal guidelines Viz: OMP (Bosch India) Central Directives and external laws namely foreign trade Customs and taxation laws
7.Supply chain transformation
Enhance end to end supply chain strategy towards fit for future capabilities. Deployment of methods and tools (SCND, MIFA, Data Analytics, logistics innovation) to enable better transparency and predictability in value chain.
8.Logistics Planning - Procurement
Oversee supplies and fulfillment from vendors and effectively managing inventories
9. People Management
Qualifications
>12 years experience in Supply Chain
* Leadership experience of 6 - 8 years is mandatory
* Must have experience in cross-functional processes and a matrix organisation.
