About the role of the In Room Dining Assistant Manager
The In Room Dining Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all room service operations, ensuring that guests receive high-quality, efficient, and personalized service that meets the establishment's standards.
What you will do:
Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, and supervisors in the Hotel’s in Room Dining Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation
Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits for 24-hour a day in-room dining and in-room private bar services
Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the In Room Dining and Private Bar area and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
Assist with payroll, training, and all administrative processes related to In Room Dining departments
What you bring:
Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this position
A minimum of two (2) years working in Room Service department
One + years’ experience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment is considered an asset
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
Cross-cultural sensitivity and customer service orientation
Guest centricity and understanding of the importance of guest preferences.
