About the Role

The In Room Dining Manager provides leadership to the In Room Dining department and associates, offering an efficient and courteous service and striving to exceed operating standards at all times. The role must demonstrate the highest level of hospitality and professionalism in a busy and demanding department, and must act as an ambassador for the hotel, displaying a great sense of style and integrity. The In Room Dining Manager uses people management skills to ensure that the team is delivering an exceptional level of service with great attention to detail and outstanding customer care.

Key Responsibilities

Handles all guest complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.Establishes a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationships.Ensure regular clients are recognized and greeted accordingly, identifying guests’ individual needs and records information for future visits.To identify creative ways on how to enhance the service provided to the guests.To ensure that In Room Dining is operated in line with maximising profit and finance KPIs while delivering on the brand promiseEnsures that all Food and Beverage and In Room Dining brand standards are implemented.Works closely with other Outlet Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.Conduct regular inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.Assign duties, responsibilities and work stations to employees in accordance with work requirements and liaise with the Kitchen and Beverage Department on daily operations and quality control if appropriate.Coordinates departmental recruitment activities.
