Job Description

The In Room Dining Server position is an exciting position giving you the opportunity to provide food & beverage service in guest rooms as well as serve in the Fairmont Gold Lounge.

Starting Rate: $16.55 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $17.55.

Job Duties Include:  

Providing luxury service from early mornings to late nights. Opening servers start as early as 530AM our closing servers stay as late as 1AM.Delivering orders and amenities to guest roomsSetting up and working functions in guest rooms for up to 75 guestsRunning of the Gold floor lounge Food & Beverage component.Deluxe breakfast buffetEvening canapés serviceBarista serviceBartendingDevelopment opportunities such as: Cashiering; taking guest orders, processing payments, organizing the daily deliveries, assisting the Manager on Duty with service flowOther duties as assigned
Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

Must be able to work in a fast paced, busy environment including overnight shifts6 months previous food & beverage experience requiredMust have ProServe certification Wine and cocktail knowledge an assetPOS knowledge an assetMust be able to lift and carry up to 40+lbs and able to constantly stand and walk throughout shift
