 Located in one of Atlanta's most prestigious neighborhoods, this Forbes 4-Star and AAA 4-Diamond hotel is a 42-story tower with over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences), over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes the 3-meal restaurant, bar, and in-room dining.

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Room Service Server, you would be responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nSet up room service trays and tables to prepare for incoming orders\nRetrieve checks, set tables according to specifications, retrieve food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar and deliver food to guest rooms and meeting rooms\nServe meals to guests, collect guest trays and respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\nPresent checks to guests and obtain payment\nReturn payments/signed checks to order taker\nPerform order taker duties and answer room service telephone, as needed\nServe alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations\nEnsure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials\nTake guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system\nEnsure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service\nEnsure serving station is well-stocked at all times\nMaintain room service department area at all the time \nDeliver amenities as requested by coordinator\nKnowledge of food and beverage in order to service and up sell our product, including liquors and cocktails\nMake sure that all silver and glasses are clean, spotless and polished\nDouble check list of items before \"sending\"\nMake sure all ordered items on room service cart and check are accounted for before presenting it to the guest\nSet up cart according to ordered items and prepping for next shift\nSupport the coordinator as needed\nVerify guest satisfaction with each delivery\nAnticipate guest needs, to ensure guests never have to ask for assistance\nAttend all food and beverage training classes \nWish each and every guest a warm farewell and thank them for staying with us\nCheck out room service keys at start of shift and return room service keys at the end of shift\nFollowing the posted opening and closing duties and side work sheet \nAttend daily pre meal/communication meeting \nAttend monthly department meeting \nOther duties as assigned\n
