Responsibilities:

Lead Payment Modernization Projects:

o Oversee the end-to-end execution of Payment Hub implementation and Payment Stack cloud migration projects.

o Define & test the functional requirements of payment workflows.

o Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

· Technical Collaboration:

o Provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.

o Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to design and implement robust payment solutions.

· Stakeholder Management:

o Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide regular updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.

o Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless project delivery.

· Solution Design and Implementation:

o Design scalable, secure, and efficient payment solutions, with a focus on NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, Cards & NACH.

o Integration of new payment systems with existing infrastructures.

o Conduct as-is assessment of current state payment system, prepare Gap Analysis report and define Target state architecture based on client requirements and budget.

· Quality Assurance:

o Ensure thorough testing, validation, and documentation of payment systems.

o Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance system performance and reliability.

· Compliance and Security:

o Ensure all payment solutions comply with industry regulations and security standards.

o Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive payment data.

Mandatory skill sets:

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

· PMP Certification.

Preferred skill sets:

Strong knowledge of payment systems, protocols (e.g., NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, Cards), functional workflows and standards.

· In-depth understanding of payment stack implementation for issuers and acquirers, covering both inward and outward transactions, with strong expertise in both functional and technical requirements

· Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud migration strategies.

· Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, .NET).

· Familiarity with security protocols and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, RBI regulations).

· Familiarity with message queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) architectures.

· Experience with Apache Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and streaming applications.

· Experience with Redis for implementing caching strategies in core systems like Core Banking and Card Management systems.
