Job Description & Summary

A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.

Our team helps our clients improve their tax function to control risk and facilitate better decision making. You’ll focus on helping businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance, increasing post tax profits, and providing application support to achieve the best corporate tax practices.

PwC Academy, is a business unit of PwC India, focused on delivering impactful skilling interventions across the value chain. As an early member of the team, you will get an opportunity to work with Edtech. Unicorns, ivy league institutions and PwC clients to orchestrate outcome-oriented skilling pathways for end users. 

Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate hyper agility to achieve first and fast mover advantage for the PwC Academy.  

2. Own and drive learner delight, quality and revenues from assigned alliances / skilling categories. End to end ownership of all activities including program launches, internal and external stakeholder management, contracting, timely closures, program management, P&L management, internal reporting etc. 

3. Identify whitespaces, new growth areas and assume ownership for associated business opportunities and market interventions (new launches, new alliances etc.) 

4. Generate new business opportunities that can translate into revenues and eminence. 

5. Support in developing business plans, concept presentations and investment pitches for senior leadership.

6. Maintain exemplary client and internal stakeholder relationships. Client stakeholder includes C-Level members, members across various teams. Invest time in meeting and developing client relationships. 

7. Respond to specific proposals in collaboration with PwC subject matter experts. Lead client negotiations, pricing finalization and closures.

8.  Help scale existing programs and products across various identified metrics.

9. Monitor delivery and proactive take corrective actions as required.

10. Develop project plans (Scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines). 

a. Monitor progress, adjust plans to meet changing requirements and deadlines. 

b. Manage project dependencies and critical paths. 

c. Track and report on milestones; Status reports to stakeholders. 

d. Manage changes in scope, potential risks; Implement mitigation strategies  e. Identify areas of process improvements 

f. Implement best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.

11. Ability to work as both an individual contributor as well as in a team construct

Alliance & ecosystems – Orchestration & monetization, Business Growth & development, Program management, Innovation, New business model launches (Greenfield and existing model tweaks), P&L ownership and delivery, Category management & growth etc.
