Position Title:   In-Store Activation Coordinator

Location:            Mexico City

 

 

The Trade Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing strategic trade marketing initiatives to drive sales and enhance brand visibility within the retail channel. This role involves collaborating closely with customer marketing, marketing team, and sales team, focused on key retail partners to develop and implement effective trade marketing programs.

 

This position will be responsible for aligning the execution plan of all Newell Brands segments, making resources more efficient according to the most important seasons by category.

 
Job Responsibilities
 

Strategy:

Annual category planning focused on the 5ps to ensure the best shopper experience Develop and execute trade marketing plans aligned with overall marketing and sales objectives. Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for growth within retail channels. Create promotional campaigns and incentives to drive sales and increase brand awareness at POS Maximize the different strategies of the customers with Omnichannel/Retail Media proposals Implement and suggest marketing materials, POS displays, and sales collateral tailored to specific retail channels. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies. Presentation to clients of 360° proposals Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives. Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade marketing programs, making recommendations for optimization and actions plans – One Pagers / Scorecards / Reports Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners. Manage trade marketing budgets effectively, ensuring ROI targets are met. Execute the Perfect Store winning special spaces in top stores. Bi-weekly trade visits to detect opportunities, identify competitive promotional activities, launches and exhibitions.

 

 

Qualifications

•     Bachelor’s degree in Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, Sales, Marketing,  Business Administration, or related.

Experience 1-3 years in trade marketing, marketing, sales or Costumer Insights preferably within the technology, telecommunications, mass consumption or small appliances industry. Strong understanding of different retail channels, category segments and the consumer needs and decision-making factors, in order to recommend the best trade marketing plans. Promotor and POP design agency management Experience in mass consumption industries.
