The company is looking for a In Vivo Scientist to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge treatments and make a difference! **Assignment: 2 year contract** **Pay: Up to 40.05/hr** **Location: Ridgefield, Connecticut** **Responsibilities:** + Design, plan, and execute experiments independently to achieve objectives within set timelines. + Perform routine **in vivo study** tasks including dosing, health monitoring, sample and tissue collection. + Develop, optimize, and validate assays, including **ELISA** , **Western blot** , and **qPCR** . + Use **molecular techniques** , **tissue immunostaining** , and **flow cytometry** for drug mode of action analysis. + Maintain laboratory equipment and manage consumables. + Support multiple projects and troubleshoot experimental procedures. + Provide training and guidance to laboratory personnel. + Communicate experimental results clearly, including writing protocols and maintaining lab notebooks. **Qualifications:** + **Bachelor’s Degree** in a related scientific field with 3+ years of experience or **Master’s Degree** in the same field. + Experience with **animal handling** , including dosing, health monitoring, and tissue collection. + Proficient in **qPCR** , nucleic acid extraction, and assay development ( **ELISA** , **Western blot** ). + Familiarity with **IHC/IF** , **cell culture** , and **flow cytometry** is a plus. + Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills. _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
