Purpose
Consumer Sales Representative is responsible for answering inbound direct-to-consumer, and business to business phone calls as well as outbound calls on generated leads. You’ll initiate contact with customers, identify their needs, and sell appropriate products and services to meet those needs. All leads will be provided by Lifeline.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for answering inbound calls and selling the full suite of Lifeline Products to B2B and D2C prospects.Maintain pipeline of leads and make outbound calls to close these leads in a timely manner.Make additional outbound calls to close leads from web site inquiries, and process orders submitted online.Must be able to work with sales processing software and use within Company guidelines. Must achieve daily, weekly, and monthly quotas set up by management.Must have exceptional time management skills, as well as be able to work independently.Provide callers with a vast knowledge of information, regarding products, services, and prices.Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player who is motivated to excel and lead.Must follow all guidelines set up by company.Complete any special projects or tasks that are assigned by your manager.Must be able to follow company attendance policy.Actively participate in team meetings and activities.
Skills and Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience as a Sales Representative, or 2 years of experience in a customer service call center position.High School diploma required but a bachelor’s degree is preferred.Strong computer skills are required.Ability to carefully listen and negotiate with callers.Ability to effectively communicate products and services to callers.
