Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Global Tax Accounting, Reporting and Global Compliance, the Income Tax Reporting & Compliance Leader is responsible for leading the key functions of the tax department regarding the Company’s income tax accounting and reporting functions, as well as the U.S. Federal Income Tax compliance functions. The responsibilities include ensuring the accurate preparation of the Company’s quarterly and annual income tax calculations and related SEC and other reporting requirements in accordance with tax laws, Sarbanes-Oxley and accounting policies. It is also responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely filing of the Company’s U.S. Federal income tax return. The position will manage a global team of 4 tax professionals. A successful candidate will develop talent, including mentoring, developing technical skills and enhancing team engagement. This role is designated as hybrid in Davidson, NC but remote arrangements will be considered.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What you will do:
Lead all aspects of the global external consolidated financial tax accounting and forecasting of cash tax and P&L for income taxes on a quarterly and annual basis. This includes ensuring worldwide compliance with SEC requirements. Lead all aspects of the U.S. Federal Income Tax Compliance process which includes ensuring the preparation of proforma tax returns, and timely and accurate filing of the consolidated tax return. Lead the global cash tax forecast process and U.S. Federal estimated payment process that will ensure timely accurate communication to internal stakeholders and payment to the U.S. government.Ensure Company preparation and smooth execution for the new global tax regime, commonly referred to as “Pillar Two”. This role will also continue optimizing the existing Tax Reporting and Compliance processes for the same.Proactively lead and develop strategies to ensure tax reporting and compliance efficiency and stay current on tax law changes that may impact the Company. This includes collaboration and support of the other corporate tax teams to ensure efficient dynamic use of the Company’s data and the implementation of automation solutions in the Reporting & Compliance processes.Anticipate, monitor and analyze the consequences of tax, regulatory and U.S. Federal compliance developments, FASB accounting pronouncements, and tax law changes and proactively address and communicate to internal stakeholders.What you will bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. Master’s degree in taxation, J.D., CPA or MBA preferred.At least 15+ years of experience comprising a mix of in-house corporate tax accounting preferably within a Fortune 500 corporation and in public accounting, preferably Big 4. Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting concepts (including but not limited to ASC740, FIN48, FIN18), IFRS and statutory accounting concepts and principles, SEC reporting, as well as technical proficiency in taxation of the domestic and foreign operations of a Fortune 500 company.Hands on experience leading the US GAAP global tax provision and compliance process preferably in a Fortune 500 corporation.Strong business acumen and the ability to effectively partner across functional areas of the Company.The successful candidate will have a positive, team-focused approach and demonstrated strengths in team building, developing talent and communication.Hands on experience demonstrating successful process improvements, including automation is a plus.Experience with HFM/OneStream, Onesource Tax Provision or similar tax accounting software is a plus.Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $204,400-258,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
