**Job Title: Incoming Quality Inspector**
**Job Description**
The Incoming Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting appearance, dimensional, hardness, and assembly inspections of various materials and products. This role requires adherence to general and project-specific inspection standards, and the use of common inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, tooth gauges, and height gauges. The inspector will also perform AQL inspections, approve labels and packaging materials, and manage non-conforming materials.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct appearance inspections according to plastic, hardware, PCB, and project-specific standards.
+ Perform dimensional inspections using provided drawings and specifications with tools like calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, tooth gauges, and height gauges.
+ Conduct hardness tests on materials with specific hardness requirements using a hardness agent.
+ Perform assembly inspections by simulating physical assembly with packaging products.
+ Inspect and approve labels, boxes, code dates, and packaging materials.
+ Place non-conforming materials and products on hold and release them to MRB.
+ Perform AQL inspections.
**Essential Skills**
+ Knowledge of PCB, blueprint reading, and circuit board inspection.
+ Experience in quality control, mechanical inspection, and cabling.
+ Understanding of surface mount and PCB assembly.
+ Proficiency in IPC-610 standards and IPC-600 standards preferred.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Minimum high school diploma or related experience.
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an IQA Inspector in an electronics manufacturing environment.
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals.
+ Basic math and computer skills.
+ Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations.
+ Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality.
+ Verbal and written communication skills.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milpitas, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
