Job Title: Incoming Quality Inspector
Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Incoming Quality Inspector to ensure the highest standards of quality in our products. The role involves appearance and dimensional inspections, hardness testing, assembly inspections, and the approval of labels and packaging materials. You will also be responsible for placing non-conforming materials on hold and conducting AQL inspections.

ResponsibilitiesConduct appearance inspections according to general plastic, hardware, and PCB inspection standards.Perform dimensional inspections based on drawings and specifications using tools such as calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, tooth gauges, and height gauges.Execute hardness tests on materials with specific hardness requirements.Carry out assembly inspections by simulating physical assembly using packaging products.Inspect and approve labels, boxes, code dates, and packaging materials.Place non-conforming materials and products on hold and release to MRB.Perform AQL inspections.Essential SkillsExperience with PCB, blueprint reading, circuit boards, quality control, and mechanical inspection.Proficiency in cabling, surface mount technology, and PCB assembly.Familiarity with IPC-610 standards.Minimum high school diploma or equivalent experience.At least 2 years of experience as an IQA Inspector in an electronics manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAnalytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail.Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals.Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations.Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality.Verbal and written communication skills.Dexterity, physical strength, and physical stamina.IPC-600 Standards Preferred.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milpitas, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
