The IND Data Analyst I will be responsible for gathering data inbound and outbound technical design documents on local/regional level. Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. Liaise between business and technical personnel to ensure a mutual understanding of processes and applications. Identify, Evaluate and Implement External Services and Tools to Support Data Validation and Cleansing. Data analyst is also responsible for monitoring & auditing Data Quality, Mining and analyzing large datasets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
+ Design systems inbound & outbound specifications
+ Manipulate, analyze and interpret complex data sets relating to the employer's business.
+ Provide requirements walk through for all projects.
+ Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools.
+ Create data dashboards, graphs and visualizations.
+ Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
+ Design functional features
+ Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
+ Collaborated with stakeholder groups across the organization to ensure business and technology alignment. Proposed solutions meeting defined specifications and needs
+ Set up follow up meetings with clients/other stakeholders to ensure output specifications are completed
+ Work closely with System Analysts to ensure system inputs are competed and placed in technical specifications
+ Work with Business Process Management Leader and Project Manager to prioritize work to meet milestones and complete deliverables on time
+ Identify and document potential technology solution deficiencies
+ Communicate specifications to technical teams and manage changes/clarifications to the requirements
+ Collect market data from internal and external sources as appropriate. Data is assembled using appropriate databases, spreadsheets or other data transformation and conformance packages and may include geographical validation of data.
+ Flag if items are not getting resolved in a timely manner and there is risk of not closing IAT in time for UAT
+ Ensure that inbound/outbound documents are updated based on incidents raised by testing teams
+ Review completed test plan to ensure all test scenarios have been executed and screenshots are accurate
+ Improve the overall quality and consistency of the GI Core Release process by ensuring better liaison with operations team on how we should be implementing new functionality.
+ Help create new standard testing scripts based on new PBI and other release issues that have been identified during testing.
+ Lead the innovation/process improvement activity at client or team level in order to have efficiency gain.
+ Ensure to have the meetings and updates with managers on progress and connect on initiatives 1/month
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to provide ongoing quality.
+ Strong Mathematical and English skills.
+ Competent in Word and Excel.
