This contractor role focuses on expanding the presence and reach of Kids First Services by fostering relationships with key referral sources, promoting services across targeted school districts and counties, and driving recruitment and onboarding efforts for new staff. A significant emphasis will be placed on business development and establishing partnerships that enhance the organization's growth and impact.
Scope of WorkExpand Outreach and Establish Connections
+ School Districts, Doctors, and Clinics:
+ Identify and establish connections with at least two targeted school districts.
+ Build relationships with key referral sources within these districts (e.g., SPED staff, parent mentors).
+ Work with school districts to include Kids First on their resource lists.
+ Attend school fairs to promote Kids First services (noting seasonal delays such as summer recess).
+ Engage with psychologists and doctors to inform them of Kids First services and establish referral pipelines.
+ Partner with local clinics to support referrals for clients outside their immediate service area.
+ Target Counties:
+ Identify and focus outreach on four to five counties for business development activities.
+ Strategically assess high-need areas to maximize impact and visibility.
Business Development and Relationship Building
+ Facilitate introductions of the CEO and Clinical Director (CD) to high-value referral sources, ensuring Kids First is well-positioned for long-term partnerships.
+ Represent Kids First at relevant events, conferences, and fairs to increase visibility and strengthen community ties.
Recruitment and Staff Onboarding
+ Recruit Key Personnel:
+ Actively recruit Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to fill service needs.
+ Support the recruitment of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) by attending military fairs and similar events.
+ Assist Behavior Technicians in obtaining RBT certification where necessary.
+ Facilitate Onboarding:
+ Serve as a liaison between new BTs, Talent Acquisition, and HR to ensure smooth onboarding.
+ Collaborate with new staff to create and manage caseloads effectively.
Client Intake and Assessments
+ Conduct initial client intakes and assessments to support onboarding BCBAs with full caseloads.
+ Perform assessments for new clients, ensuring services align with their specific needs.
Deliverables
+ Referral Source Development:
+ List of identified key referral sources within targeted school districts.
+ Engagement activity documentation with schools, clinics, psychologists, and doctors.
+ Event Participation:
+ Reports on attendance and outcomes from school fairs and similar events.
+ County Targeting:
+ List of identified counties with outlined engagement strategies.
+ Partnership Introductions:
+ Schedules and summaries of meetings with key referral sources, including outcomes and next steps.
+ Recruitment and Onboarding Support:
+ Weekly updates on recruitment progress, including signed hires and attended events.
+ Support with onboarding documentation and initial caseload assignments for new hires
