custom index development, investable index products designed to offer access to
systematic strategies, index administration and calculation agent services.

What’s the role?
We are seeking an Index Sales Specialist who is intimately familiar
with the design and attributes of index solutions used by insurance annuity
issuers and sell-side firms. As an Index Sales Specialist you will drive the design,
adoption and education of Bloomberg Index products for use within the Insurance
and Sell-side products and workflows.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining
relationships with key decision makers and influencers across insurance firms and
sell side organizations to provide them with consultative, commercially focused
index solutions.
You will be involved in all aspects of account management,
including senior level relationship management and in-depth discussions
regarding Bloomberg index methodologies, new product development and
positioning relevant solutions to clients.
We’ll trust you to:
+ Build senior level relationships with many ofthe top institutions in the world
+ Conduct in-depth discussions regarding Bloombergindex methodology and new product requirements
+ Increase client awareness, usage and adoption ofour Bloomberg Indices
+ Take a lead role in conducting internal andexternal training sessions and sales pitches
+ Work with clients throughout the sales processincluding commercial terms, contract execution and driving distribution support
+ Collaborate extensively with different internalteams to cross-sell our suite of solutions
+ Provide detailed product feedback from clientsto internal business managers in an effort to continually improve our productsand expand our offering and capabilities
+ Travel regularly to meet with clients andprospects
You’ll need to have:
+ A minimum of 5 + years of extensive experience and understanding of theindex landscape, index solution design and index data usage within insuranceand sell side firms
+ Significant experience working in, or selling toInsurance and Sell-side firms or alternatively, experience in structuring / designingquantitative index solutions (QIS)
+ Experience analyzing prospects and competitors toposition unique, relevant index solutions
+ High level understanding of derivative usage andpayouts within indices as well as their usage to gain exposure to indices
+ An astute commercial mind-set, working to exceedsales metrics
+ Demonstrable ability to identify new prospectsand to build / maintain meaningful client relationships
+ Excellent client communication skills inconversational speech, writing, and public speaking
+ Aptitude to excel in a dynamic, rapidly growingenvironment
+ Ability to creatively market our product to avast demographic of potential clients
+ A self-starter and dedicated collaborator withstrong multi-tasking skills
