India EPC Back-office Pursuit Leader

Job Summary

Based in India and dealing with global Engineering and Procurement companies (EPC) back-offices in India.

Working in a collaborative team environment, support Triple offset Valves (TOV) global project pursuit working with India EPC’s back office. Engage with TOV strategic Business Unit (SBU) and project pursuing sales office dealing with EPC head quarter around the world (WA), engage and align with pursuit strategy, maintain relationship and communication with EPC’s back offices in India, gain project and competitive intelligence, understand project procurement strategy, deliver key value messages to EPC back-offices aligned to global pursuit strategy

Planning and Execution

Align with SBU and WA detailed strategy plan to drive projects pursuit at EPC back office Understand and communicate the EPC back-office strategies around pursued projects to the rest of the organization. Identify and help driving ideas to make TOV easier to do business with major capital projects from EPC back-office perspective Help organization to develop the skill set to better pursue and win projects dealing with customer back office in India Forging high-level contact relationships within the identified critical EPCs offices based in India, especially procurement and Engineering teams and establish continuous connection and follow up during the bidding phases.

Project Pursuit

Support project pursuit and strategic accounts organizations with AML / AVL additions and global customer / key account presentations Maintain relationship with back office Aligns with the pursuit strategy Understand purchasing process, at EPC back office Present products/solutions (such as replacing gate and ball valves with TOV, or new applications where TOV can be used) Understand manufacturing plants approval and needs if driven by back-office Understand competition and their positioning Be proactive and communicate the market intel to SBU/WA  Understand key buying factors at EPC back-office Provide sales intelligence to enable the production of a promising proposal Engage at early stage of projects keeping focus  Make sure communication channels are opened locally for detailed quotations clarification and alignment before and during bidding process involving product quotation team Make sure communication channels are opened to facilitate major value prop discussion involving WA pursuit leader and WA leading the end user relationship and TOV SBU  Improve Project Win ratio based on a differentiated reason and customer value creation and understand the overall ISV guidelines.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Technical bachelor is preferred Must be fluent in English  Based in India Seven (7) years minimum experience in outside sales in the valve industry, preferably with direct experience in triple offset valves sales and relevant served industries and customers Understanding of the global environment and business trends in the process industry Five (5) years minimum experience in working with main global EPCs back offices established in India involved in energy sectors Proven understanding of product solutions in key applications of TOV valves, within all core segments including O&G, Chem/Petrochem, S&D Effective communication and influencing skills  experience working with matrix organization.

Key Performance Indicators

Quantity and quality of EPC engagement visits Win / loss % on KOB1 projects  TBD

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Proven understanding of product solutions in key applications of TOV valves, within all core segments including O&G, Chem/Petrochem, S&D Effective communication and influencing skills  Experience working with matrix organization.
