India Manager I, HR

Job Summary** Manages employees and activities of the human resources department. Performs highly complex Human Resources related duties at the professional level and carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, labor relations, recruitment, training, compliance, benefits and compensation administration. Administers HR policies and procedures. Collects and analyzes HR data, assists the HR Manager with tasks as assigned and makes recommendations to Management. **II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Plans, manages, and coordinates various HR functions and organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities. + Plans and coordinates new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals. + Coordinates record of insurance coverage, and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations + Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. + Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover. + Represents organization at personnel related hearings and investigations. + Conducts training on company policy issues, and other issues as they arise. + Counsel’s employees and other managers on various employee relation issues. + Keeps records of hired employee characteristics for governmental reporting purposes. + Maintains technical knowledge and a current awareness of new HR developments and techniques. + Submits reasonable budget information and analyzes data versus year-to-date data and prior year budget. + Manages projects and/or participates as a project member on HR initiatives as assigned by the Senior HR Team. + Conducts critical business analysis of proposed HR initiatives and/or HR organizational changes. + Develops written and oral presentations that have high clarity and impact. Provides regular written reports as needed to Senior Leadership. **III. Supervisory Responsibilities** This role will require supervising 4 or more direct/indirect team members across HR sub functions. **IV. Qualifications** The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience Required: MBA in HR or equivalent Master’s Degree. Experience: + 10+ years of related experience including minimum 3 years of team handling. + Willingness to work in complete night shift. + Exposure to US/UK working environment is preferred. + Should be well versed with HR, Statutory & Labour compliances. + Should be comfortable with complete work from office.
