Job Responsibilities: + Create and execute comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for complex processes implemented in Python and for the PathWise software system. + Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on features and bug fixes implemented by the Software Development team for quarterly releases of PathWise. + Perform testing and benchmarking of processes and models implemented in Python and on new PathWise software releases. + Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools in Python. + Identify, record, document and track bugs. + Perform thorough regression testing on bugs and features. + Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Required Experience and Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science. + 5+ years’ experience in a software quality assurance role + Knowledge of python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy ) + Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing frameworks, tools and processes + Experience with designing and developing automated test cases + Hands-on experience with white box, black box, stress, functional and regression testing + Hands-on experience with automated testing tools + Experience with benchmarking, performance and/or security testing is a plus + Knowledge of actuarial and/or financial products and libraries is a plus + Technical knowledge and experience in multiple Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models.
