Area:

Purchase to Pay Services Americas (P2P) is part of the Supplier and Reporting (GBR) cluster and includes Procurement and Accounts Payable E2E Services for the entire Americas region. In P2P, we are responsible for acquiring goods and services, up to the payment stage. Our area is responsible for processing plant demands and paying invoices on time to avoid delays in the production process. Everything necessary for a chemical plant to operate is acquired by P2P: chemicals, reagents, gloves, food, etc.

 

Main Objective of the Position:

The main objective is to ensure efficient and timely supply of technical goods and services, while providing support to internal business partners in the purchase order process and driving continuous improvement and digitalization efforts.

 

Main Tasks:

Ensure technical goods and services supply under scope, according to the P2P global guidelines, for the NA region.

Support internal business partners with purchase order creation, monitoring and confirmation process, ensuring they are routed to the correct channels.

Works with a Virtual Team in collaboration with finance, ensuring the E2E process is efficient and smooth, focusing on main indicators to ensure deliveries and payments on time. 

Be first level contact and the reference for the site, to handle P2P issues (troubleshooting).

Excellent planning and prioritization skills with a strong sense of urgency.

Create synergies and develop solutions based on stakeholder’s interaction.

Ensure know-how transfer when needed and steering of trainings for newcomers.

Contribute with own ideas to continuous improvement and digitalization.

Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:

Education | Graduate or advanced student in International Business, Administration, Accounting, or related fields.

Work Experience | 1 to 3 years of experience in service delivery within an operational role.

Languages | Advanced proficiency in English, both oral and written.

Technical Skills | Knowledge of SAP is highly valued.

Soft Skills | Strong customer focus, effective communication skills, a drive for innovation, teamwork, ability to work independently, a strong sense of responsibility and ownership, adaptability, and excellent planning and prioritization skills combined with a strong sense of urgency.
