The role

As a Procurement intern you will work closely with the procurement manager and other internal stakeholders in the finance and administration teams to make sure that the procure to pay cycle (PTP) is covered correctly. You will also be assisting with the negotiations and sourcing activities for Amplifon in The Netherlands. You will be learning from the Indirect Procurement Manager by helping with the sourcing activities for Amplifon in The Netherlands.

What your agenda will look like

You have will work together with the stakeholders and suppliers to make sure we reach our KPI’s and look at the process while doing so to find the things we can still improve to become more efficient; You will be responsible at the start of the process by negotiating with the suppliers for the price and conditions, make sure the contracts are in place and talk to the suppliers to make sure everyone is following the procedures and following the code of conduct for suppliers. At the end of the process you will close the PO once we’ve received the goods; You will collect and analyze purchase data for the Netherlands assigned categories while working with the Oracle system and have access to BI tools.

Who you are | Qualifications & Capabilities

Bachelor student in business/supply chain-related field and available for at least 24 hours a week; Strong knowledge of Office Suite, Oracle will be a plus; Proactive “can-do” mindset, communicative with an analytical mindset; A self-starter who’s eager to learn and develop; Good English, both spoken and written, speaking Dutch is a pre; Well organized and able to work under pressure.
