Join us on our journey to #ForeverCaring as a Procurement Programme Manager, and you’ll do the same. **About the role:** This is a role within our Global Indirect Procurement function that is driving a high-performance culture and setting the standard for excellence. We are looking for a Procurement Programme Manager to support the team in delivering and executing projects that add value to Convatec. As a Procurement Programme Manager, you’ll handle a variety of projects and engage across the business with key stakeholders including VP level. You will oversee the project management to implementation of key projects. You will be accountable for managing one or more projects depending on complexity and experience. As a member of this team, you will be expected to execute projects and project milestones in accordance with agreed upon deliverables, timings, and budgets. You will also support the Indirect Procurement team on their transformation journey to promote a culture of transparency by sharing project goals, timelines, and outcomes. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their Project Management and or Procurement career to work in a team undergoing a transformation journey and be part of a team who play a critical role in the delivery of key Procurement related projects. **Your key duties and responsibilities:** + The role involves working closely with the Indirect Procurement team to identify projects and key deliverables and building these into a presentable delivery plan. + For those projects where you are identified as the Project Lead you will be required to create detailed project plans, determining resources (time, budget, etc.) and identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete each project to implementation and hyper care during the post implementation stage. + The role requires regular engagement with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensuring procurement policies support organizational needs, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet project milestones. + You will be responsible for coordinating Internal Stakeholders and external and supplier(s) to ensure project milestones are delivered in accordance with the timelines and deliverables agreed. + The Programme Manager must communicate effectively with cross functional stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, IT, CI etc ensuring they are updated on processes, milestones, and actions. + This role will deal with department VPs to update on the progress of projects impacting their area. + You will review and present project schedules with senior leadership and project team members; revise schedules/plan as required. + You will collaborate with the Indirect Procurement Team to create case studies or reports that demonstrate the value that the Indirect procurement team brings to the organization. Including but not limited to successful project outcomes, innovation in procurement practices, and contributions to sustainability goals. + You will collaborate closely with the Indirect Procurement Director to enhance the visibility of all procurement projects to the wider business. This will involve developing comprehensive communication strategies to effectively present project updates, achievements, and strategic initiatives to the wider business. + You will create a standard set of best-in-class project and communication tools. **Skills & Experience:** + A good understanding of Project Management principles with knowledge of how to pull together a project plan and experience of how to translate it into actions and manage those actions and the people responsible for them through to execution. + Able to demonstrate the values and behaviors required to be successful in the role and support the Convatec ‘Forever Caring’ Promise. + Strong attention to detail in planning, execution, and communication tasks. + Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. + Excellent organisational skills. + Excellent presentation skills. + Ability to identify issues through sound analysis and application of commercial acumen in all situations. + Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. + Excellent IT skills. + Flexible with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage conflicting priorities. **Qualifications/Education:** + Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent industry experience), certification in CIPS or Project Management being beneficial but not essential. **Working Conditions:** + This may be based in London or Deeside with a hybrid working structure.
