This person is responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the Purchasing department. Assist Buyers in the purchasing of indirect goods and services when needed and providing guidance to plant associates in the procure to pay process. Responsible for compiling and analyzing procurement data for reporting purposes. **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Daily checks to ensure accurate workflow of Maximo requisitions, purchase orders and review any inventory reorders that fail. + Assist Buyers as needed in the procurement of goods and services and provide coverage when Buyers are on vacation or sick. + Assist internal customers as needed with procurement issues, blocked invoices, goods receipt vs invoice receipts (GRIR)issues, etc. as well as re-assigning Maximo requisitions for approval. + Manage corporate freight accounts. + Compile monthly scorecards on the P2P process. + Conduct purchasing/supply audits as well as special projects that arise. **Minimum Education** Diploma (w/ additional training on E-Procurement, purchasing systems, vendor management, and MS Office). Computer software (automated purchasing systems such as Maximo, MCMS, and/or SAP, MS Office, Paperwise), scanners, printers, copiers, fax machine, multi-line telephone, and calculator. **Experience Preferred** 3 to 5 years (2 to 3 years with degree) CPM or CPSM certification desirable **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** 1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. 2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. 3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. 4. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment. 5. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
