As a Category Supplier Manager, you will be responsible for developing a category strategy for managed categories, validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers/s and the respective internal partners and stakeholders. You will be conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, plan and execute negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management. Through management of the category strategy, you will also be building trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders, driving best in class, cost, supply and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Category Management & Strategic Sourcing

* Recommend resource levels across procurement sourcing categories, projects and functions

* Implement processes to monitor internal stakeholder satisfaction with key suppliers

* Recommend targets internally to maximize value such as high revenue, spend reduction, purchasing efficiency, and supplier management

* Analyze sourcing trends and make recommendations for assigned categories

* Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting

Cost Management & Analysis

* Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers

* Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets

* Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal stakeholders

* Utilize should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace

Negotiation with Suppliers*

* Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc

* Lead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiation

* Incorporate savings targets and contract requirements into negotiations

* Develop a contract strategy for suppliers in assigned categories and create, negotiate, monitor and enforce contracted terms and conditions

Business Partnering

* Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders to Deliver Strategic Solutions

* Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with key internal stakeholders

* Drive targets-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement

You are:

* Experienced in a category management role, preferably in a semiconductor or tech industry

* Demonstrate experience in strategic sourcing

* Strong in negotiation and communication skills

Qualifications & Skills:

* Bachelor or MBA or Master's degree

* Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills
