The challenge
You’ll manage territory across Tobacconists, Kiosks and C-Stores (Partners and device sellers) to accelerate Smoke Free Products (SFP) growth and sustain Combustible share, in a multicategory context. You will assure, availability of devices & consumables, multicategory presence through visibility and engagement & education to upskill retailer’s capabilities & willingness, leveraging on digital platforms and remote activities. To do so, you have to take in consideration Points Of Sale segmentation and consumer profile.
Your ‘day to day’
TERRITORY MANAGEMENT
-Design Territory plan in line with Area Strategy, assure the roll out and regular follow-up, and suggest Contingency plans, through the best deployment of the commercial drivers such as Visibility, availability, engagement and advocacy and efficient resources allocation (contracts, gifts, hostesses, campaigns, visibility platforms);
- Develop deep knowledge and understanding of assigned Area to identify any potential business opportunities in compliance with PMI policies and procedures in full cooperation with the National/Area priorities;
-Establish appropriate connections with retailers and/or any other potential business partners;
-Analyze relevant data related to the assigned retail segment to adapt plans and activities in accordance with Commercial Planning guidelines;
-Cooperate with Headquarters Departments to implement Commercial campaigns and monitor results;
-Provide actionable information and market/retail/consumer insights for business decisions;
-Guarantee an effective territory coverage based on guidelines, planning and performing visits to POS, assure quality of execution at POS and register quality data collection according to systems requirements.
TRADE ADVOCACY AND TRAINING
-Foster profitable business relations with retailers adding value to their business by training staff & owners on subjects such as category management, know your customer, SFP's and Combustible Cigarettes (CC) categories and how to ensure effective indirect communication through appealing retail look to deliver a coherent and right message to adult smokers;
-Build the right understanding of SFP category through an educated product & category awareness, foster quality Trial & Acquisition of Legal Ages Smokers (LAS) & Re-purchase of Legal Age Nicotine Users (LANU) to accelerate Conversion and retention in an efficient way, leveraging on digital and remote activities, to maximize NPS at retail.
TRADE VISIBILITY AND RETAIL LOOK
-Ensure excellence in POS execution, in product availability, visibility and retailer's engagement with a multicategory approach, creating the proper ground to motivate to SFP category and to be true partners on a mission for a smoke-free world;
-Ensure excellence in deployment and execution at POS level, including permanent and temporary materials, commercial campaigns, product availability and support new launches;
-Implement and manage Brand Retail guidelines;
-Grant PM products presence in line with Company's share of space guidelines and instructions to enhance brand premiumness perception.
TRADE ACTIVATORS
-Develop and Deploy trade activation Plan, through pos selection, resources allocation (Hostesses and Retail Activators) and results monitoring, to ensure proper coverage & service level to LAS/LAU based on territorial opportunities and POS segmentation;
-Share best practices to elevate extended team quality in execution, fostering the best in class consumer experience
FFWD
-Proactively propose and/or support the design and implemention of FFWD ad hoc pilots, providing data and feedback to evaluate results and scalability
BUDGET ADMINISTRATION
-Manage assigned yearly budget (contracts agreements) as agreed with Supervisor and in accordance with the Company policies and procedures;
-Ensure effective and efficient allocation of available resource/tool (gifts, dispensers, ampaigns) as well as constant monitoring of relevant use/expenditures.
CORPORATE FRAMEWORKS
-Enhance and maintain any activity and/or relationship with third parties the image of the company as a responsible and preferred business partner;
-Ensure constant compliance with all PMI aplicable policies and procedures;
-Drive assign company car according to defense driving principals;
-Comply with Guidebook for Success guidelines, as well as all guidelines defined by the company.
What we’re looking for
Degree in Economics, Business Management and Marketing, or other Commercial RelatedPreferable at least 2 years of Experience in Deployment field RolesFluency in Portuguese and EnglishCollaborative approach, capability of managing diverse stakeholder groupsGood negotiation skills and effective communicationAction Oriented, fast learner and Problem-Solving attitude.EU work permit
