**Your job** Indeed is looking for a highly motivated Indirect Tax Senior Associate to join our growing team. You will assist with all US indirect tax compliance for Indeed’s domestic entities. You are a self-starter who is highly organized, demonstrates exceptional data-driven skills and attention to detail. This role will report directly to the US Indirect Tax Senior Manager. **Who you are** + Assist with the preparation and filing of US indirect tax returns + Preparation and filing of US personal property tax returns + Support timely completion of indirect tax audits and examinations + Interpret and communicate relevant legislative developments to management and other internal partners and departments. + Develop, document and implement indirect tax process improvements + Work effectively with third party tax service providers + Perform special projects as assigned by management **Who we are** + Technical knowledge of state and local sales and use tax laws, regulations and policies + Experience with tax decision engines (Vertex, Avalara) + High proficiency in data analysis and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database tools + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + High attention to detail and accuracy **Education Requirement** : Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting **Our mission** As the world’s number 1 job site*, our mission is to help people get jobs.
