Indirect Sourcing Manager, China
Purpose/Objective: Provides supply market and negotiation expertise on the sourcing process and best practices; drive adoption of best practices and standardized sourcing processes. Participate in the supplier selection and leverage Corporate’s purchases to achieve the costs reduction across all business units. Building up a health and collaborative relationship building with key stakeholders and suppliers. Area of Responsibilities: Develop, align and deploy effective key sourcing strategies for indirect commodities Set team objectives and priorities, and drive team performance in conjunction with business unit/cross function initiatives and requirements Develop, manage and influence key regional stakeholder relationships Drive continuous operational improvement as evidenced by improved quality, efficiency and effectiveness measures Interface with business owner leaders and associated stakeholders to support their strategic objectives to identify and prioritize cost-savings and efficiency opportunities Positively impact associated annual commodity spend – delivering annual value in terms of cost out, cost avoidance (where appropriate) as well as through capability improvement and process improvement. Leverage corporate resource to select and qualify the suppliers for the business needs, jointly with the cross functional team Managing existing contracts, changes, renewal, default Identifying key categories (commodities) and key supplier Negotiate the terms and contracts for the assigned commodity according to the purchasing policy and total cost of ownership for the company Develop and implement the best practices within the Company Person Specification: BS Degree, commercial or business related majoy, 7-10 years related sourcing working experience and 2 years within in indirect spends purchase eProcurement measure or tool experienced as preferred Managerial courage and willingness to challenge the ‘status quo’ as appropriate Strong communication skill Ability to manage conflict in a positive manner, working towards consensus and win/win outcomes Project management experience as preferred Traveling flexibility(about 10%) English and Mandarin Join our winning team today.
