Position Overview:
As the Indirect Sourcing Manager at Polaris, you will play a pivotal role in transforming and optimizing our indirect procurement function. You’ll lead a small team while also managing key subcategories, ensuring strategic cost management and supplier partnerships across a $350MM spend portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will develop sourcing strategies, drive efficiencies, and elevate procurement from reactive to proactive. Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and execute a multi-year vision and strategy for Indirect Procurement, establishing both short- and long-term cost-reduction goals.
+ Lead and mentor a small team of sourcing professionals, ensuring high performance and strategic execution.
+ Oversee hands-on sourcing management for multiple indirect categories, including (but not limited to) Marketing, HR/Temp Labor, and Facilities.
+ Transform indirect procurement processes from manual and reactive to a proactive, strategic function.
+ Build strong cross-functional partnerships across the company, advocating for indirect spend optimization and influencing key business decisions.
+ Conduct detailed spend analysis and market research to identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier improvements.
+ Develop and implement supplier performance programs, ensuring strong vendor relationships and accountability.
+ Establish and refine procurement policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the organization.
+ Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management, aligning with internal stakeholders to drive the best business outcomes.
+ Manage complex industry pricing structures through regular analysis, ensuring Polaris remains competitive in the market.

Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
+ 7+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in indirect sourcing.
+ 3+ years of leadership experience, managing and developing others.
+ Expertise in contract negotiation and sourcing methodologies, particularly within agency/marketing suppliers.
+ Strong ability to lead and influence stakeholders toward cost-saving and efficiency goals.
+ Excellent organization and communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving.
+ Ability to travel up to 15% to suppliers, manufacturing plants, and other Polaris facilities.
The pay range for Minnesota is $110,000 to $140,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
