We are looking for an Indirect Tax Analyst to join our Corporate Tax department at The Lubrizol Corporation’s World HQ in Wickliffe, Ohio. This is a fast-paced, energetic environment with proven growth opportunities.

 

What You'll Do:

As an Indirect Tax Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation. In this interactive role, you’ll provide guidance to all US Plants and other divisions within our large organization. You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. The Indirect Tax Analyst will have a variety of responsibilities, including preparing a high volume of returns and working efficiently to meet deadlines.

 

What We're Looking For:

Prepare sales & use and personal property tax returns and account reconciliations Assist with sales & use and property tax audit information and document requests Prepare state and local income tax returns Prepare excise tax returns Perform tax research Prepare state apportionment work papers

 

Skills That Make a Difference:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field from an accredited college or university Able to handle large return volume and meet all filing deadlines Excellent organizational skills Effective oral and written communication skills and analytical skills

 

Considered a Plus:

SAP experience Experience in sales & use and property taxes Experience with sales tax software platform such as Vertex Sales & use tax audit experience Experience with electronic tax research software
