Salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Manage the outsourcing of all property tax and sales tax returns.
+ This includes gathering all appropriate information, reviewing the information and returns for accuracy.
+ Review, authorize and oversee the timely filing all property tax payments, returns and notices.
+ Manage all sales and use and property tax audits.
+ Respond to all sales and use and property tax notices in a timely manner.
+ Identify opportunities to streamline the sales/use tax and property compliance processes, creating efficiencies through increased standardization and automation.
+ Review reconciliations of property tax accounts.
+ Assist and lead with implementation of sales tax determination software
+ Support Regions regarding sales/use and property tax inquiries.
+ Support the Tax team as needed on tax planning projects, including recurring and non-recurring transactions, acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring and other strategic issues
+ Other Tax Consulting projects as needed.
+ Manage the SOX 404 testing and compliance related to sales/use tax and property tax processes.
+ Other duties as assigned.
+ Travel Less than 10% U.S. and Canada only
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, accounting is preferred
+ A minimum of 5+ years related work experience
+ CPA, a plus
+ Solid knowledge of finance and accounting required.
+ Hands-on problem-solving ability while working on tight deadlines
+ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to analyze qualitative data
+ Exceptional analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills
+ Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment and mobilize cross-functional high-performance teams
+ Ability to develop working relationships within the Finance Department and other business groups
+ Exceptional verbal communication skills
+ Excellent written communication skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Preferably working knowledge of Hyperion reporting, OneSource Indirect Tax Determination, and other sales tax determination systems such as Vertex.
