Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Supporting the Head of Indirect Tax and the Functional System/Value Stream Lead in the design and implementation of tax initiatives for the new ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the SAP S/4 Hana transformation program, you will support from a tax perspective the design and implementation of tax initiatives for the new ERP systems
Lead and manage tax transformation projects, including supporting roadmap planning and execution, process improvements, and technology implementation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tax requirements into the broader business processes
Analyze from a tax perspective current process and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements
Provide training and support to the tax team and other functions on new systems and processes
Together with your colleagues, you'll be part of a global center of expertise for indirect taxation (VAT/GST, etc.), withholding taxes, electronic reporting, Intrastat and SAF-T.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good indirect tax knowledge, and general knowledge of the most important international tax regulations
Deep business understanding of processes and structures
Affinity to tax technology and preferably some SAP knowledge
Experience with tax compliance reporting and technology solutions
Experience in project management and change management
Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Completed university and technical college education / MBA
Excellent knowledge of indirect taxation (including intrastat, e-reporting, SAF-T, WHT, etc…)
Basic knowledge of corporate tax and international tax law
At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of indirect tax in an international corporation or a Big4 auditing company
A healthy amount of initiative and commitment
Good English language skills and familiarity with computer-aided work and communication tools
