What You’ll Do
As an Indirect Tax Specialist in Applied Materials you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the company's indirect tax obligations, including VAT, sales listing and Intrastat reporting.
This role is located at our European Finance Headquarters in Hoofddorp, Netherlands and is a permanent full-time position.
Role Responsibilities:
Effective and efficient completion and submission of indirect tax compliance activities (VAT returns, Sales Listings, Intrastat reporting) for various legal entities in Europe;Managing queries from tax authorities in Europe and support in providing information for tax audits;Develop a network and partnerships relevant to indirect tax processes and projects;Support the automation of indirect processes;Ensure any changes in legislation are incorporated into the business and ERP system as well as inform relevant stakeholders;Supporting standardization and harmonization of indirect tax processes within EuropeWhat You’ll need
Strong VAT knowledge;Bachelor Tax certification or Charted Accountant;Affinity with MS office, data, tax technology and SAP knowledge are preferential;Proven expertise in Indirect Tax Compliance;Willing to work in International environmentExcellent communication skills with an interdisciplinary and cross functional work ethicAbility to take initiativeWorking language: English.Additional Information
