Raytheon is seeking a Prin Spclst, Industrial Engineer to lead all Industrial Engineering activities in our Richardson OCMC site.   

What You Will Do

Analyze manufacturing system performance to identify undesirable effects and opportunities for improvement.Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints.Apply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate constraints, improve efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals.Create process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings to graphically show manufacturing processes, the movement of material, the exchange of information, and key metrics.Participate in factory safety and ergonomic improvements.Contribute to strategic roadmaps focused on factory expansion, Manufacturing Technology insertion, infrastructure improvements, obsolescence mitigation, and the integration of new capabilities.Partner with project managers and other functions to execute projects that modify the factory footprint, change the layout of factory equipment, and/or add new capability.Support competitive bids, factory proposals, business case development for future investments, and Make/Buy/Where analyses.

What You Will Learn

How to lead a site on a Lean Transformation journey.Communicate with many levels of program, other contractor and government stakeholders and works to positively guide parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures, and practices.

Qualifications You Must Have  

Typically requires a Bachelors degree in  Technology, Engineering or Mathematics  and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. requires a Bachelor’s in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics  (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.Experience with Lean, Six Sigma Experience with project and/or program management ideally in a similar manufacturing environment to RaytheonThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
