Job Overview The ICS Network Engineer Level IV is responsible for all contracted network devices and systems on the ICS Network. They shall oversee and manage a wide variety of monitoring and data acquisition systems and will require a broad knowledge of both network and server environments to accomplish their tasks. The incumbent will maintain and deploy network switches and routers, servers (physical and virtual), storage arrays, databases and applications residing on the ICS environment. They will also support team members with escalation support and ensure that all systems supporting the customer are functioning as designed. This position meets regularly with management and customer leadership and will be looked upon as a subject matter expert for various systems. Work Model: Onsite/Office-Based Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Responsible and accountable for all current Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) installations, upgrades, patches, repairs, changes, program modifications, maintenance and or troubleshooting activities in support of the contract. Develop, implement and oversee, in coordination with management and the customer, all maintenance activities for the SCADA/EMCS system. This includes but is not limited to tasks, frequencies, impact analysis, spares, test environments, etc. Troubleshoot and diagnose application issues in Windows 10/11, Windows Server and Linux environments, and escalate if needed. Troubleshoot and diagnose network communication issues and perform corrections as needed. Support the integrity of the System Security Plan (SSP), creating Corrective Action Plans for issues identified and all supporting processes. Maintain support accounts in relationship to the contract and SSP for patches, upgrades, troubleshooting and escalation. Develop, finalize and submit all documentation as required to execute SCADA/EMCS work and illustrate full functionality with completion of work and testing. Troubleshoot and diagnose application issues in Windows, Windows Server and Linux environments, and apply fixes as needed. Troubleshoot and diagnose network communication issues and perform corrections as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Mandatory: Master’s degree in a related field and at least 7 years of related experience or Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related experience or Associate’s degree and 13 years of related experience or in lieu of a degree at least 16 years of equivalent related experience. At least 1 DoD approved Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification Possess an in-depth knowledge of IT systems, including but not limited to servers, applications and various network equipment. Demonstrated experience in a Subject Matter Expert role. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and maintain good working relations. Ability to research, analyze, interpret and apply rules, regulations, and procedures to a variety of situations and to recommend timely solutions. U.S. Citizen. TS/SCI Full scope clearance, or ability to obtain Full scope from a single scope investigation. Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass a pre-hire background and drug screen. Ability to team lift up to 50lbs.
